Rockstar Energy Drinks and Coke Have a New Baby
Launch of Von Dutch Energy Drink Set for October 2005...
Rockstar Energy Drinks and Coke have a new baby – a little hipster drink called Von Dutch.
The drink, named after a clothing company known for expensive blue jeans and trucker caps and racy advertisements, will be licensed by Rockstar and distributed through CCE, the Coke bottling company. CCE entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Rockstar earlier this summer.
The drink is expected to launch in October in camouflage cans and in regular and sugar-free versions, according to the State, a newspaper in Columbia, S.C.
Rockstar will own the rights to the Von Dutch Energy Company.
