AMP Energy Traction

AMP Energy Traction is another of the new flavors of AMP Energy. Elevate comes in a black and purple can with a large AMP logo in silver and white. The purple design on the can gives the vibe of a grape or mix berry flavored drink, and grape is just what you get. The can has kind of a cool and professional look to it. On the down side, there is far too much text on it. The front of the can is somewhat jumbled with different descriptions, names, and ingredients.

AMP Energy Traction is one of the new flavors AMP added to their line of energy drinks. Traction is AMP with a charge of grape added to it. The flavor is very similar to Mountain Dew Pitch Black which was a limited edition grape Mountain Dew drink. It tastes a lot like a grape lollipop or a grape soda mixed with lemon lime. There is a hint of the original AMP flavor in this drink, but it is hidden under the heavy grape flavor. If you like grape flavored drinks or if you were a fan of Mountain Dew Pitch Black, you are sure to like this drink.

AMP Energy Traction contains a decent amount of the typical energy ingredients such as caffeine guarana, ginseng, taurine, and B vitamins. In addition it also contains Maltodextrin and D-Ribose, which are said to help you stay focused through the long haul. The drink did give a nice boost of energy comparable to the other new AMP Flavors and there was not a bad crash after drinking it.
