Guru Juicy Tangerine

Today we are reviewing the Tangerine flavor of Guru Juicy Energy Drink Hybrid. This is not just an energy drink, but an “energy drink hybrid,” mixing an energy drink with real fruit juice. The design of the 12 ounce “slim” can was put together very well. The overall theme is bright, yet sophisticated. The orange and yellow designs also go well with the tangerine flavor of the drink. An interesting thing to note is that this drink is 100% organic and natural. On the downside, this product has a suggest retail price of $2.99 for 12 ounces. (This product is also available in 8.3 oz and 16 oz cans.)

Guru Juicy Tangerine features a very rich, non-carbonated tangerine flavor that is smooth and very easy to drink. The tangerine flavor is bold and explosive, not dull or boring. There are no bad aftertastes from this drink. Also, the taste does not linger in your mouth, rather it is very refreshing. There is a hint of grapefruit, orange, and lemon in the mix as well. This drink consists of 20% organic juice and is sweetened with sugar cane juice, instead of artificial sweeteners, making it a healthier choice.

Being that this drink is 100% natural and certified USDA Organic, I was not sure what kind of kick to expect from it. It is also interesting to note that an ingredient found in most energy drinks, taurine, is absent from this drink. With all of this said, I was very impressed by the energy this drink provides. The drink makes use of all natural ingredients, such as Guarana, Ginseng, and Ginkgo Biloba, to provide a boost of energy. Guru Juicy Tangerine boasts 97 mg of caffeine per 8.3 fl ounce serving. Overall, this drink provided a healthy boost without any crash at all.
